The mission and goals of the Crawfordsville Community School Corporation are:
- Support a variety of paths to academic success and lifelong learning.
- Support character education and character development in the school community.
- Support the appropriate use of fiscal resources to maintain and enhance the community’s investment in education.

One lucky Kindergarten student at Hose Elementary, Kayson Oresik-Teeguarden, has a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to go to Disney World after he won the Disney sweepstakes prize from the National Read-A-Thon fundraiser!
Mrs. Krug, Mrs. Phelps, and Mrs. Carrell, three teachers at Hose Elementary, took their classes to North Montgomery High School where the FFA had several farm animals for the students to explore, pet, and learn more about them!

During the month of February, Mrs. Rohr’s class at Hose Elementary had been reading multiple stories from the popular series, “Love Monster” which is about a hairy, googly-eyed monster trying to find his place among the cuddly residents of Cutesville and ultimately finding friends to love him just as he is.
The March 2025 Athenian Oracle is full of great achievements and activities of our students.

Hose Elementary staff and students had a special visit from an Indiana author, writing educator, and speaker, LaNesha Tabb, who is known for her Alpert books. The main character, Alpert, loves “snow storms” or blank white paper, but discovers the endless possibilities from adding a simple line which is the beginning of creating amazing settings where new stories take place.
